Praised for her “clear, sparkling tone” (South Florida Classical Review), award winning harpist Anna Ellsworth is in demand as a performer of both classical and popular music.

As a winner of the Anne Adams Award, Anna was featured in the opening concert of the 42nd American Harp Society National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. She has won prizes in the American Harp Society National Competition (Young Professional Division), Korean International Harp Competition, and Young Artist’s Harp Competition and was a two time winner of the Boston Harp Festival’s Stars of Tomorrow competition, subsequently performing in the festival’s Stars of Tomorrow concerts. In addition to solo appearances alongside the Hemenway Strings, Miami Music Festival Orchestra, and Boston Conservatory Conductor’s Orchestra, Anna has also performed with Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, Portland Symphony Orchestra, Boston Lyric Opera, Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, and Southwest Florida Symphony. She has played in such venues as Carnegie Hall, Elbphilharmonie, and the New World Center.

Anna holds degrees from Yale University and Boston Conservatory. She’s the resident harpist for Clock Tower Afternoon Tea at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington DC and serves as acting principal harp with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra.
